The pod is the bloon's cabin, housing a maximum of four passengers. Several different arrangements are on offer: the standard 4 places, or, so as to enjoy this unique trip in a small group, the 2+2 isolated arrangement to share these magic moments in privacy.
Regardless of which arrangement you choose, your trip on board our pod will be unforgettable. You will discover the astonishing landscapes of our world and the infinity of space through the pod's panoramic windows, all in a quiet, warm, comfortable atmosphere. A team of two pilots will help you learn all about our world. It's not only a trip in which to observe, but also to soak up the wonders offered by our planet.
With all-round windows, pod's interior is very spacious and has a capacity of 4 passengers and 2 pilots.
The chain links pod and the sail. It also contains the necessary communication and localization systems and bloon's emergency landing system. Again, your maximum safety is our main concern.
The sail is basically a balloon filled with inert helium. It bears the whole system through the atmosphere, with no fuel or propellant, no noise, no discomfort - just simplicity and peace.
bloon's landing subsystem has been designed to get you back to the ground safe and sound.
Deployed in the descent phase, the system is comprised of two segments:
- Textile-based decelerators: ensures a quiet descent, directing the pod to its chosen landing site.
- Inflatable absorbing systems: enables the attenuation of forces to make the landing as comfortable as possible for you.
The dome is the pod's lift-off platform. It's an ephemeral structure which can be transported to wherever location the lift-off takes place.
