zero2infinity tests equipment in a small helium balloon

zero2infinity tests equipments launching a weather balloon into the stratosphere, up to 25 km.

In June, zero2infinity launched a latex balloon from Zaragoza (Spain) which allowed the team to test some hardware. Among all tested equipment was a spherical camera, owned by the spanish company Ábaco Digital working in collaboration with the professional photographer Ignacio Ferrando, which allowed to record the flight with a 360º view.

The balloon rose up to 25 km in about 2 hours, during the flight the weather balloon had a diameter of about 11 meters (36 foot). The team tracked the balloon via GPS and Radio during the whole flight until the landing point.

The flight was successful and all the equipments worked well. The results of the 360º camera can be watched in a video by following the links below.
